Corsica River Day is an opportunity to have fun while teaching environmental stewardship.

Please provide at least two activities listed below to help encourage fun interactions between you and our guests. 

Booth Activities

We give a passport to each child filled with questions from our participants. Child will discover the answers from your display or activity. Please write in your question and answer.

Submitting this form does not guarantee a place at the event. Your spot can only be secured upon receiving an email confirmation from our event staff and payment of any applicable fees.

BOOTH LOCATION:

Booth location will be determined in advance. An email prior to the event will be sent with your location.  

SET-UP INFO:  

Arrive between 10 am - 11 am.  If you need to arrive earlliar, please contact our office. 

You will not be able to pull directly up to your booth. You will need to park and hand truck or carry your supplies to your booth. Ask a county employee for assistance. 

ELECTRICITY:

Electricity is typically unavailable or limited. We recommend you bring a long, heavy duty, three prong extension cord if you require electricity. No vendor is allowed to create a daisy chain of cords.

PARKING:

A staff member will direct you to nearby parking.

TENTS: 

You are required to bring your own 10x10 canopy, table and chairs. Canopies are required to be safely anchored, Please don't attach to trees, signs or shrubs. 

WELCOMING:

Anyone participating in a Queen Anne's County event is expected to treat all visitors and staff with the utmost respect and consideration. Discrimination against any individual because of their race, color, religion, sex (including gender identity, sexual orientation, and pregnancy), national origin, age (40 or older), disability or genetic information will not be tolerated. 

TEAR DOWN:

Event tear down & clean-up begins at the end of the event and not during the event. Please take all trash with you or dispose in trash bins on site. Please ask if you need any assistance. 

DECORATIONS:

The use of balloons in your display or as giveaways are strictly forbidden inside or outside the event grounds.

We ask you to decorate your booth to match the theme of the event, and for you to dress in the fashion of the theme, if applicable. For example if the event were Oktoberfest, wearing an alpine hat or lederhosen would be in style of the theme and would engage the audience and your booth would pique visitors interests,

SMOKING/VAPING:

Smoking and vaping are not allowed in QAC parks or facilities.
